I see that lives have again been restored; even those who protested. Yet weeds won't return if they are cut properly. A shame they couldn't have been more useful.

Have the rest of you grown fond of this cage? Or are you merely stumbling along your path, waiting for guidance?

It must seem like such a pitiful existence.

What a terrible fate. You cling to corpses and wish that their lives are returned for selfish reasons. But even the dead are trapped in this world until the gates are opened to them. Such choices are not ones that should be made by any mortal.

Fight against it all you will. If you wish to claim them from me, than your force will need to be greater than mine.

[ooc - That didn't go entirely as he expected. He had been planning to use the corpses he collected for a different purpose, but after watching one of the bodies disappear and then the sudden earthquake, he feels a little slighted.

Lucifer did not take Barbelo's body (she failed him/he's a bastard etc), but you can expect to see Sasuke, Kairi, and Anko roaming around, attacking anyone who comes near them (and yes, they'll be actively seeking people out). These aren't typical 'zombies', rather they act like an extension of Lucifer's will and are thus more powerful than they were alive. He can also speak through them if he chooses to. Think of it as a test. You're welcome to react to any of them as you'd like. They'll be around until the dead come back.]

It seems that you have been claiming the souls that weren't allowed to move on to their rightful place. I wonder what purpose you have to seal off the gates of Heaven and Hell to these desperate people; cursing them to be continually reborn without any certainty of release. And what power you have to keep even the Lord of Hell from reaching you, while my armies grow restless.

Must I be the one to show them mercy?
